Bridging cultures, connecting communities, and creating lasting impact in King County and beyond
OLYMPIA — The Workforce Board invites workers, employers and job seekers across the state to take the new Job Quality survey. The survey asks Washingtonians what matters most in their jobs, from pay and working conditions to schedules and job security. Employers are encouraged to share it with their workforce. Take the survey here. A Spanish language version is available here.
The results will help the Workforce Board develop strategies and policies to better support Washington’s working families and employers who depend on a strong workforce. The survey is open through Feb. 14 and expected to take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. Responses are anonymous.
The Workforce Board seeks input from people in all occupations and industries. Employers and workers have an opportunity to influence policies that support good jobs and new opportunities in their communities.
“Washington workers and employers support a dynamic economy. It’s critical to include their voices as we create new policies that support good jobs,” Executive Director Eleni Papadakis says.
Survey results will inform strategies and policies that support workers and encourage investment in high-quality jobs. This collaboration aims to build a more resilient and inclusive labor market that benefits both workers and employers. Results will be shared with policymakers, employers, organized labor and the public.
The survey is part of Talent and Prosperity for All (TAP), Washington’s strategic workforce plan. This four-year strategy guides the state’s workforce investments from 2024-28. The goal is to help employers, workers and communities succeed by building a strong workforce.
